Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the LaunchReady Android application (the “App”). LaunchReady is provided by Roshan Kumar, an independent developer operating under the name hummOut (“hummOut,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using LaunchReady you agree to them and to the LaunchReady Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These terms are in addition to the Google Play Terms of Service, which also apply to your download and any purchase you make.
2. What the service does, and what it does not promise
LaunchReady connects Android developers with each other so they can install and genuinely use each other’s apps. The purpose is to help developers meet Google Play’s closed testing requirement of 12 testers for 14 continuous days.
We provide a coordination tool. We do not promise that you will find 12 testers, that your closed test will pass Google’s review, that your app will be approved for production, or that any other developer will keep testing for the full duration. Whether your app is accepted by Google Play is entirely Google’s decision.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher. If you are under 18 you may only use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- Account features require signing in with a Google account.
- One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to earn more credits, fill your own cohort, or test your own app is prohibited.
- You may browse parts of the app as a guest. Guest use does not create an account and guest data is not synced.
- You must have the right to list any app you list.
4. Credits
- Credits have no cash value. They are not money.
- Credits are not redeemable for money, goods, or anything of value outside LaunchReady. There is no cash-out, withdrawal, or refund of credits.
- Credits are not a currency, security, financial instrument, stored-value product, or crypto asset. They are not transferable and cannot be sold, traded, gifted, or assigned.
- Credits are a revocable licence to use a feature of the app. We may adjust, expire, reset, or remove credits obtained in breach of these terms, or where a bug or accounting error caused an incorrect balance.
- Credits are forfeited if your account is terminated or deleted.
- Nothing in the app is a purchase of credits with cash.
5. Pro subscription
LaunchReady offers an optional Pro subscription, sold and billed exclusively through Google Play Billing. The price, currency, taxes where applicable, billing period, and renewal terms displayed by LaunchReady and Google Play immediately before purchase are the terms applicable to that transaction.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancellation. Cancel through Google Play → Subscriptions or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No partial refunds from us. Refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy.
- Price changes. Google will notify you and, where required, ask for consent before the next renewal.
- Deleting your LaunchReady account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
6. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not fake, automate, or simulate testing; use emulators, device farms, scripts, macros, or modified clients to earn credits; create multiple accounts or collude to game credits, matching, or trust scores; list an app that violates Google Play policy; list a link that does not lead to the Play closed testing or store page for the app you described; harass other users; probe or bypass security controls; sell your account or credits; or offer or accept payment outside the app for testing or for a Play Store review.
7. Reviews on the Google Play Store
You must never be paid, credited, or otherwise rewarded for writing a Play Store review, and we will never reward you for one. No credit payout is conditional on a review, a rating, or what you write. Writing a review is always optional. If you list an app, you must not ask, incentivise, pressure, or induce any tester to leave a review or a particular rating. You may ask testers for written feedback sent privately through the app. That is different from a public Play Store review.
8. Anti-fraud, trust score, and strikes
Every account starts at a trust score of 100. It falls when you break a commitment and rises when you complete one. In a cohort, each missed daily launch is a strike. Three strikes remove you from that cohort. If you join a cohort and do not install peer apps before the preparation window closes, you can be removed and forfeit staked credits. We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, and revoke credits — without refund — for faked testing, multi-accounting, review trading, fraud, or other material breach.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of app names, descriptions, icons, and feedback you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content within the app while you keep it posted. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except copies already on other users’ devices and short-lived backups.
10. Advertising
The app shows Google AdMob rewarded ads. Watching a rewarded ad is optional. We do not control which ads Google serves. See the Privacy Policy for advertising data.
11. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app, including credits, cohorts, and Pro. We do not guarantee uptime.
12. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that you will complete Google Play’s 12-tester, 14-day requirement, that Google will approve your app, that other developers will honour commitments, or that any listed app is safe. You install other developers’ apps at your own risk. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. “Google”, “Google Play”, and “Android” are trademarks of Google LLC.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, device damage caused by an app you chose to install, or removal of your Play developer account. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Consumer statutory rights are not affected.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from content you post, an app you list, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of anyone else’s rights.
15. Termination by you
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account in the app or by emailing rosh4yt@gmail.com. Deletion forfeits credits. Cancel Pro separately in Google Play.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction where legally competent. This does not prevent a consumer from approaching a forum available under mandatory local law. Before formal proceedings, email rosh4yt@gmail.com.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the app. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be notified in the app; continuing to use the app after they take effect means you accept them.
